10 Weird And Awesome Video Game Hallucination Scenes

9. Eternal Darkness

Eternal Darkness was a psychological horror game from back in 2002. The game itself spanned different eras throughout history, allowing you to play through them. The game itself was noted for its "sanity meter," a tool used with great effect throughout the game. This bar depleted when you encountered enemies and if it dipped too far into the red, various spooky things happened. Standout ones included the walls and ceilings bleeding, the volume gets lowered and was accompanied by a fake volume control on the television and sounds such as footsteps, children crying and blades being sharpened. The best one of the bunch though had to be when the game informs you that all your saved data had been deleted and you needed to reset the game. Every gamers worst nightmare! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RSXcajQnasc
