10 Worst Fatalities In Mortal Kombat History

5. Mortal Kombat: Deception (2004) - Nightwolf

According the Guinness Book of Records, MK:D was the first 3D fighting game in history to offer online play, which is a hell of an achievement. It also once again upped the number of finishers to two for each of the 28 characters, giving players more than 50 different fatalities to choose from. Yikes. Bo Rai Cho was again in contention for worst of bunch with his 'hilarious' finisher, whereby he lights one of his farts on fire, burns his opponent a bit... and then they fall over. He sniffs the air and says, "Ohhh, that's a stinky one." Ugh.

But even that doesn't compare to the lack of effort shown by Nightwolf. Considering the sheer volume of fatalities on offer across the game, the ingenuity shown by the dev team is reasonably high; opponents get all of their limbs re-arranged like they're a modern art sculpture, voodoo dolls come into play and people are carved up six ways from Sunday; which is why it's so disappointing that Nightwolf just throws an axe at his opponent's head. That's it. That's all that he does. Moving on...
