10 Worst Games of 2012

9. Supremacy MMA: Unrestricted

The "FIFA Street of MMA games", Supremacy MMA: Unrestricted is notably distinguished from top-tier titles like UFC: Undisputed because it isn't so much about the championship aspects of the sport, but rather climbing the ladder to success from lowly, underground origins. Though PS3 and Xbox 360 versions were released last year, the target of our focus is the vastly inferior PSVita port. Though the game in all its forms is to be commended for including two female MMA fighters, that's really as inventive as the game gets; otherwise, it is an abject failure in pretty much every area. The animation quality is stilted, the graphics look considerably worse than the console versions, the voice acting is atrocious, the controls are awful, the soundtrack doesn't fit the tone of the game, and the overtly cartoonish violence doesn't really reflect what MMA is all about. It is an awful game that doesn't at all "get" the sport it is trying to pay tribute to and a braindead fighter that will bore even the most ardent fan of the sport.
