10 Worst Gaming Failures Of All Time

8. Atari Jaguar

This was it for Atari; go hard or go home, as they pushed on consumers what would apparently be the first 64-bit gaming system, though it soon enough became apparent to that a lot of the console's infrastructure was actually composed of 32-bit components. Not only fueled by an incredibly crass business practice - duping consumers with a bout of good 'ol false advertising - but a pronounced lack of third party support, the Jaguar soon enough fell by the wayside and was outdone by every single one of its competitors, including the SNES, Mega Drive, PlayStation, Sega Saturn and 3DO. How humiliating. Atari, who are certainly not averse to taking huge knocks, suffered another fatal blow that proved to price them out of the mainstream home console market for good. And thank God for that.
