11 Awesome Actors Who Gave Awful Video Game Performances

10. Liam Neeson - Fallout 3

This one's sure to be divisive, but as much as people love Liam Neeson, and as novel as it was to have him voicing your father in Fallout 3, in retrospect his performance is actually incredibly flat.

Neeson's distinctive voice does bring with it a certain, undeniable gravitas, but sadly his overall delivery feels incredibly lifeless and one-note throughout the game, as though the voiceover directors were pushed for time (because hiring Neeson must've been incredibly expensive) and weren't able to properly direct his performance.

The legendary actor's voice is there, but he rarely feels truly, emotionally present, which given the pivotal nature of his role in the game is extremely important. As such, this wasn't just bad, phoned-in work, it was legitimately incredibly disappointing.
