11 Improvements We Must See For Call Of Duty 2016

5. No More Nerfed Abilities In The Campaign

It's not just the multiplayer where things feel underwhelming, though: the last two CoD games have both introduced awesome new movement mechanics for the multiplayer...and then almost completely nerfed them for the campaign. Advanced Warfare and BO3 both took these abilities away, with AW only bringing them out periodically when the mission dictated it, while they were totally absent from BO3 in favour of new nanomachine attacks which, while cool, didn't quite compensate for the grounded movement. It's clearly a design choice to make the campaign easier to engineer, as allowing the player to wall-run and fly around requires the consideration of so many more variables, but when in some cases your teammates are free to fly around before your very eyes, it seems extremely lazy to remove this option from the player's repertoire.
