11 Next-Gen Games You Should Be Considering

Watch Dogs The world is currently obsessed with, well, Ben Affleck being cast as Batman, but regardless of that, the world is also been obsessed with the next generation of video games coming this fall! However, what good are consoles without great games? The games are why we buy consoles; some people buy a Playstation for Uncharted, inFamous, Killzone or Ratchet and Clank, and others might buy an Xbox for Halo, Gears of War and Fable. Both systems offer their share of exclusives for varying tastes. Throughout the seventh generation, the PS3 consistently boasted the best line-up of exclusives. Microsoft is making great strides to turn that around with their next console; the Xbox One will see Dead Rising 3, Sunset Overdrive, Ryse and Titanfall, to name but a few, as exclusives. That's impressive. Sony, on the other hand, came out at their February 20th reveal event and showcased Killzone: Shadowfall, inFamous: Second Son and Drive Club, then at E3 showed off The Order: 1886. That's only four of Sony's exclusives, and they say there are 180 PS4 games in development! Sony is obviously dedicated to having the Playstation be the home of the hardcore gamer, and they've sought those gamers with two of their best franchises inFamous and Killzone. After some mixed messages from Microsoft, both companies are now going head-to-head for the hardcore gamer. For the first time, the companies are fighting for us, the consumer, giving us what we want as opposed to simply telling us what we want! With so many great next-gen games coming, there's plenty to be excited about. I want to clarify that I won't be including Sunset Overdrive or The Order: 1886 in this list, as we haven't seen any actual gameplay from either game, so it's too hard to judge how they will really play. I will be rating the games based on what I believe their average review score will be, out of 10. So, with all that said, let's get into this!
