5. Killzone: Shadow Fall
I'll admit it, me and Killzone have never got along. I've never really got into them, until I saw the trailer for Shadow Fall and like some demented meerkat springing from a bush I scented the air and started to be interested in what Killzone was emitting. Set 30 years after Killzone 3, Shadow Fall brings new guns to the table and takes full advantage of the PS4's new processing power to deliver a tailor-made shooting experience for the next-gen. Surprisingly true next-gen shooters are somewhat missing this holiday season - Shadow Fall appears to be the only one built for the ground up for a next-gen console. COD Ghosts and Battlefield 4 are both available too, but those aren't specifically developed for next-gen. Killzone: Shadowfall releases alongside the PS4 and will be right there on the shelves as you elbow others out of the way at midnight.
