12 Iconic Moments That Made Gamers Everywhere Happy

11. Assassin's Creed €“ First Viewpoint

Assassins Creed Eagles Nest When the Xbox360 and PS3 first came about there was a whole lot of talk about what they could do, where they could take us, and what they could make us, as gamers, feel with their shiny new graphics, unparalleled sound, and Hollywood production values. It was hard not to get swept up in all of the hype, but it was also hard not to believe it; because boy did we want to. Climbing up to that first eagle nest in Jerusalem and seeing the hustling bustling city spread out in the sun below you was the moment I realised they'd been right, and my excitement was justified. 10. The Last of Us €“ Giraffes

Last Of Us Giraffes A game about loneliness, misery, death, desolation, and badass infected that just want to chew your face off, The Last of Us showed us that the scariest darks in this world aren't lurking in the shadows but lying deep in ourselves. Funny, then, that it had me wearing the biggest smile when, out of nowhere, a couple of giraffes trotted along below. The music swelled gently in the background and Joel and Ellie, in a rare break from almost-dying, stood and watched. I didn't have to imagine the smile on young Ellie's face as it was plastered all over my own.
