12 Most Hotly-Anticipated Video Games Of Summer 2017 - Ranked

12. Uncharted: The Lost Legacy

Uncharted The Lost Legacy
Naughty Dog

With a developer's pedigree as immaculate as Naughty Dog's, Lost Legacy's quality feels like something of a forgone conclusion. Born from an initial DLC idea fleshed out into a full release, writer Josh Scherr - who also provided additional work on the main games - is going to show what happened to the fan-favourite Chloe Frazer, post-Uncharted 4. So far all we've seen is a trailer and one cutscene, but we all know the deal with Uncharted at this stage - treasure-hunting, immaculate animation, a solid script and major set-pieces.

Here, Chloe is also joined by A Thief's End's Nadine Ross; a badass mercenary helping Frazer dole out some punishment in what looks like the game's new melee system. In the first trailer, we see the pair lay waste to an entire rooftop of enemy goons, actually connoting the gameplay of something like God Hand or other third-person brawlers.

Going off how immaculate and genuinely important The Last of Us' Left Behind DLC turned out, Lost Legacy has that same feeling of pointlessness, being A Thief's End wrapped up exceedingly well, yet with Naughty Dog at the helm, it's sure to pack some brilliant surprises.
