14. A Bug's Life

Offering a balance of platforming action, exploration and skilful berry-lugging, A Bug's Life was a welcome movie tie-in when it swarmed onto the PlayStation back in 1998.

Letting players take control of hero ant, Flik, the aim is to traverse fields, tunnels and locales from the movie, all the while making sure you don't get skewed by one of those lairy locusts.

The game is all the more immersive due to levels being littered with collectibles and by also featuring actual scenes from the movie. Topped by some Pillar-influenced graphics and character animations, this one showed that Disney didn't need a Sega or Nintendo console to turn in a fun title.
