14. Deus Ex Human Revolution - Eidos Montreal

Eidos

Bringing the Deus Ex franchise back into the limelight, delving into multiple genres: stealth, RPG and, of course, first-person shooting.

In Human Revolution, you're placed into the shoes of ex-SWAT officer Adam Jensen, who is critically injured but saved by extensive 'augmentation' (artificial organs and limbs). Afterwards, Jensen continues down a path of cyberpunk conspiracies in a fleshed out world subject to player choice, becoming one of the most well-written games of the time.

You will mix the first-person action with stealth, your augment abilities and the environments around you to combat threats or avoid them.

It's wildly recommended to grab the Director's Cut over the original game due to significant improvements to gameplay and boss battles.
