15 Impossible PlayStation 4 Trophies Nobody Unlocked

Think you're good at games? We'll see about that.

There was a time when Achievements and Trophies were a revolution in gaming; little impulsive side-goals to your main thrust through a particular title, giving you a smattering of reasons to replay, experiment, discover secrets and talk about every facet of its existence with anyone who'd listen. Nowadays they've dropped off a little in terms of being the first thing you think of when the credits roll, but that hasn't stopped developers using these subtle triggers to inject some humour and much-needed replayability into their creations. On PS4 specifically there's a super simple way to access your Trophies in-game too. Simply head over to the icon on the main menu, then jump into a game. Whilst playing, double tap the Home button and you'll switch between the feed of the game itself and the trophy list, as the console treats them both as separate apps. It's essentially the easiest way to keep track of your progress until Sony implement some sort of Xbox One 'Snap'-like pop-up, but it works a treat, especially if you've been looking for an excuse to get stuck back into some of your favourite titles. That said, story trophies are all well and good, but it's the following 15 that'll really test your gaming mettle. Let us know in the comments if you managed to obtain them, and prepare for some of the most outrageous optional goals ever set by developers so far this generation.
