You think the events that have gone on throughout the entire campaign are unique? Think again. After the previously-listed reveal happened, Elizabeth elaborates and discusses how their current reality is just one of an endless amount. However, there are always two constants in each reality: there's always a lighthouse, and there's always a man.

Booker goes into the lighthouse in every single reality with the same objective over and over again, yet it yields the same result. Regardless of whether or not Booker succeeds in killing Comstock in one reality, there will always be a Comstock present as long as Booker is still alive. If one exists, then they both exist.

It's with this statement that the current reality Elizabeth, along with several other ones from different realities, surround Booker as you end up in the baptism water. If Booker seizes to be, so does Comstock. Upon stating this, Elizabeth grabs Booker's face and submerges him into the water, while the other Elizabeths watch. Once his last breath is drawn, each Elizabeth begins fading away, inevitably leaving no one else to be seen. Truly a mind-blowing ending.
