16. Noticing Every Tiny Detail In Assassin's Creed Origins

Asssasins Creed Origins
Ubisoft

You might not think it with AC Origins being an Ubisoft game, but there's truly a Metal Gear Solid/Legend of Zelda-level of intricacy and detail present throughout. Such awesome, tiny details include (but are certainly not limited to):

- Water actually having a current. It will carry blood, oil and bodies from one place to another and you can even ignite oil streams to burn targets downriver.

- Your horse's eye reflects the world around it - just zoom in using the Photo Mode to see.

- Spend too long in the desert and you'll hallucinate, seeing ghostly figures and even being awash in a storm of raining frogs.

- Fire spreads realistically and in tandem with the wind. Ignite a patch of grass and it'll quickly attach to everything in sight - even yourself.

- The amount of arrows in your quiver reflect how many you can use - they're modelled physically, and will jostle around as you move.

- You can pet cats by crouching next to them, but after standing still and letting your eagle Senu land on your arm, hit triangle/Y to pet and feed him too.

- If Bayek is wearing anything over his mouth, his voice will sound muffled in conversations.

- Every single human in the game has a routine. NPCs will go to work, sleep, till fields and perform other tasks. Guard patrols will change and targets will move around - opening them up for perfect assassination opportunities.
