20 Best Nintendo Switch Games Of 2017

18. L.A. Noire

LA Noire
Rockstar

You have to hand it to Rockstar, they clearly needed to test the waters with the Switch, and decided to do so in the most cult fan-gratifying way possible.

L.A. Noire has long-been one of the studio's most divisive titles, though its 1940s period setting enhances the experience far more than some sporadically tough interrogation face-offs may otherwise detract. Yes, you'll need to match accusation with evidence otherwise everything falls apart, but playing as Cole Phelps, an ex-soldier who brings the war home with him and onto the streets of L.A., the Switch version holds up remarkably well against not only the 2011 original, but unbelievably, the PS4 and Xbox One editions, too.

What better way to see if something as huge as GTA could run on a new system, than granting one of your most underrated games a new lease on life?

If it fails, no harm no foul, but if it succeeds - which we can see it has - well, that only opens the floodgates for every other Rockstar property to make its way across.
