20 Most Stunning PS4 & Xbox One Games So Far

The best beauties and beautiful disasters of the new gen.

Infamous Second Son
Sony CE
The first full year of Xbox One and PS4 has been a somewhat tumultuous one, and yet, there are few other consoles that could boast anything like the impressive titles in their first year as the Next Gen flagships could. Sure many of the games were, to varying degrees, buggy and many were delayed, but the launch still offered a major opportunity to improve graphics and celebrate them. The Xbox One and PS4 have already produced a range of diverse games; from epic space wars in to heart-pounding horrors and all have allowed the two consoles to really flex their graphical muscles, in both major tent-poles and lesser releases. So it's only fitting that, a little over a year into the two console's life spans, some of the finest looking games they have to offer should be celebrated. This list will include both games that are multi-platform, as well as those exclusive to Xbox and Playstation. Get ready to have your eyes melt when you check out these incredible looking video games...

20. The Order: 1886 - PS4

Infamous Second Son
Sony Computer Entertainment

The Order: 1886 was supposed to be a 2014 game but was finally released in the third week of The Order, and let's just say its graphics are its best feature. But what a feature it is. It's no exaggeration to say that The Order 1886 is unrivalled in the visual department.

So the game might not be the bees' knees and it might be horrendously short, but the aesthetics are undeniable. Ready At Dawn have completely outdone themselves with their first console game, and The Order: 1886 has set a very high bar for any game to beat.
