19. Happy Birthday!
Arguably the best sequence of the entire game is the Lucas segment, where Ethan views a VHS tape of Sewer Gators cameraman Clancy being trapped in a Saw-like puzzle set by Lucas.
Clancy must attempt to light a birthday cake with a candle while avoiding various obstacles, but once he reaches the end, the cake explodes, mixing with some spilled oil and burning him to death.
As Ethan, the player must then repeat this trap while avoiding spilling the oil in order to survive the explosion. It's a thrilling sequence that makes an art out of suspenseful repetition, and probably the cleverest part of the game.
With excrement-filled toilets, creepy robot clowns and even a trippy barn fight against a fat member of the molded, this section is nothing if not diverse, hilarious and really, really f***ed up.
