4 Totally WTF Video Game Levels

Super Mario Bros New and crazy ideas are harder and harder to come by in video games these days. Much like film, television, or even books, everyone has an idea for the next big thing. Unfortunately, chances are, someone has already done it. There are, however, many unique and creative people in the world who continue to give us new and fresh ideas, especially in the world of video games. Video games have become a staple in the entertainment industry, and are offering players new experiences every day. The need to be exceptional is becoming a necessity in the industry and innovation is key to that success. Some games are not that great to begin with, but, with the right mix of talent, certain levels can bring a whole new experience to an otherwise average game. Every game might have a "WTF?!?" moment or two, but to have entire levels, missions, or areas that have this impression can be a difficult feat.

4. Rainbow Road - Mario Kart 64

Mario Kart Wii This level may be one of the most iconic in video game history. The final race track of Mario Kart 64, Rainbow Road, is now a party game favourite for nerds and jocks alike. Mario Kart 64 has plenty of unique tracks, but Rainbow Road is by far the most-utilised and well-known. Since it has become such a staple, most readers might be wondering, "How is this a mind-blowing level?" Remember the first time you ever raced on the colorful speedway? It was probably a mix of awe and frustration. The bright colors, high speeds, and possibility of falling off into the vast expanse of space all contribute to this level's creativity. With new Mario Kart games, Rainbow Road has gotten quite the facelift and became the gravity defying, trippy experience we have all come to love in Mario Kart Wii. Rainbow Road is also notorious for one of the most risky shortcuts in video game history. I know I scream "WTF?!?" whenever one of my friends successfully does this.
