5 Current-Gen Games That Should Be Made Into Movies

4. Bioshock

bioshock_big_daddy_and_little_sister-600x300 Bioshock was an absolute classic. It is probably one of the most original video games released to date and there certainly is demand for a movie. Perhaps life before, during and after Adam and Eve were introduced? How about a story about life above water (related to the kidnappings of 'little sisters')? These are only a couple of themes I can come up with that could make the movie a hit. One thing is for certain; don't tell the same story twice. The Bioshock universe is very interesting but a movie on the game's story could possibly dilute it. Director Gore Verbinski (Pirates of the Caribbean) was supposed to direct the Bioshock movie, but the production of the movie was later cancelled. This was due to an insufficient budget for such a detailed world. Still, it's possible that another director may take the helm. Verbinski was a great choice to direct the film, but if someone else wishes to direct it; then they'll have to stick with an original story. Originality is what could determine life or death for this movie and I certainly hope it'll be "life."
