5 Key Points Of Discussion After The Xbox One Reveal

microsoft-xbox-one-4842_610x407 Wowie. The last few hours have been a bit of a ride for games journalists. I remember not so long ago when the Playstation 4 was revealed and it was all said and done, ever one kind of shrugged it off as "Yeah, that looks alright." There were some gripes and some praise but it all went according to plan. However, with the Xbox One's reveal, it seems to be like a napalm strike in comparison. Tempers are high, commentators are warring, there is a lot of hostility and negativity flying around from a bunch of parties and details are near impossible to ascertain at this point. I actually don't seem to hate the Xbox One as much as some others I have seen writing about it and I do think there are a lot of interesting applications and ideas going on here. However, I do think it is very abrasive to a lot of the norms of the industry and that has ticked a lot of people off. This is definitely proof that the industry is changing and the idea of what a games console is has 'evolved'. Whether that is good or bad still remains to be seen. So here is a selection of the key talking points surrounding the system after the reveal and I will try and walk you through my impressions of the launch...
