5 Reasons GTA IV Was The Worst In The Series

5. Soundtrack

gta iv pc 6 First off is the soundtrack. Yes, I know that this is a small thing on the surface, but once you get into the game, it becomes very important. With a 50-hour game, a bad soundtrack can be a decisive factor as to your enjoyment of the entire game. Unlike Vice City or San Andreas, GTA IV's soundtrack is painfully bland. It is a mix of differing noise; from the Talk Radio stations to the Hardcore Metal ones, it is all very samey. I'll give Rockstar a pass due to the cool use of the in-game Internet and a range of full TV shows that you can also enjoy in-game, but Saints Row II blows GTA IV out of the water on this one, thanks to a creative and wide range of radio stations.
