5 Reasons We're Still Playing Red Dead Redemption

4. Multiplayer

The reason so many players can't put the controller down is because of Red Dead Redemption's multiplayer. Not only is the free roam mode fun to play, but it is unique. The idea of raiding gang hideouts and generally exploring the map with other players makes the multiplayer so much more immersive. The multiplayer is also addictive (comparable to the likes of Call of Duty) and the thrill of levelling up makes the player want more. Play multiplayer with the 'Liars and Cheats' DLC pack and you're now able to play poker with your friends over the internet. Red Dead Redemption's multiplayer makes the game much more social and you don't feel 'lonely' in a world of computer-controlled people.
