5. SongPop

This is a competition to see which friend is less of a hipster. The app plays a song and you have to guess which song it is by choosing from a list of four possibilities. That's essentially the entire premise. Who knows contemporary pop music better? Granted, there are several playlists you can 'unlock' with coins and challenge your friends to see which one knows 80s songs better. Regardless, it is overwhelming the amount of notifications one can receive from this app from friends. Thank god for the 'ignore' feature. SongPop is that kind of app that keeps people on Facebook far longer than they need to be. Unfortunately, nobody else seems to think this is a bad thing.
