7 Censored Video Games That Went Way Too Far

6. BMX XXX

BMX XXX is one of those games that’s just so hilariously stupid you have to tip your hat to it. Yes, this was way over the line, but you’ve got to respect the mad vision of the slightly insane person who came up with the concept.

BMX XXX is a ‘sports’ game developed by Z-Axis and published by Acclaim Entertainment and released for the Xbox, PlayStation 2 and GameCube in 2002. The majority of the gameplay focuses around BMX-based action sports, however the game understandably is best known for containing nudity, foul language and adult humour.

The character customization options allow for players to create avatars of either sex that are completely topless. Not too crazy you might say, but the developers went a little further in the pursuit of attention and included live-action video clips of real life, naked strippers. The game suffered both negative reviews and poor sales.

Unsurprisingly the censored version for the PlayStation 2 covered all the naked breasts in the game, which left it as nothing more than a pretty crappy biking game.
