7 Reasons We Need A Quality Tennis Video Game In 2014

Now more than ever, there is a big gaping hole in the sports gaming market.

Top Spin R Ask anyone in the sports games community what you should play if you want a really great football game and the majority of answers would be Fifa. American Football? Madden. Golf? Tiger Woods PGA Tour. So why is it that when it comes to tennis, it would entirely depend on who you asked as to what answer you'd get? Because, unfortunately for us tennis fans, the gaming world has yet to offer up a franchise that masters the sport as successfully as the aforementioned titles and instead what we have is three fairly solid competitors that take it in turns to churn out game after game that always falls just short of the standards we have come to expect from a sports game in this day and age. What this means is that there is division in the tennis gamers' world as we each have to choose what's more important to us; graphics or smart gameplay, the big names or big features. But I can speak for all of us when I say that tennis has upped its status enough now to deserve a fully realised, professional and smart franchise that lives up to the likes of every other sports game out there. Now more than ever, there is a big gaping hole in the market just waiting to be filled with ONE outstanding tennis franchise that turns the other competitors into a thing of the past and unites us all under its brilliance.
