Minecraft, simply, is known for being something of a children’s game. Granted, its intricacies far surpass levels of complication for the average child, and it is still massively popular with adults of all ages.

Minecraft’s signature mode is survival mode. You can work your hardest to gather materials to make tools and armour that will protect you as you explore new lands. You can even play it on peaceful mode, which means enemies won’t even be able to damage you.

You are free to play out the game with relative ease, construct a great castle, and make your way across the world.

Until, that is, you end up in The End, and meet The Ender Dragon.

Boasting a massive two hundred hit points of health, and spitting fireballs that will decimate your entire life bar, the Ender Dragon is a massive difficulty spike for such an easy game, and one that will certainly leave young children in utter dismay.

Arguably, after the amount of effort required to get to the Dragon’s lair in the first place, you’re probably well equipped to handle anything it can throw at you, but for the unsuspecting adventurer, it will almost certainly be your End.
