8 Things Nintendo NX Will Do Better Than PS4 & Xbox One

Back in the day, Nintendo were the greatest. Sure, you didn't go light-headed blowing into cartridges with your PS1 and yes, you could enjoy DVDs with your PS2 (remember when that was a legitimate selling point?), but if you didn't own a Nintendo system, your childhood was incomplete. Simple as. A frightening amount of hours were poured into games once the rise of 3D gaming hit full speed in the 90s. It was a time for gaming to be endlessly fun and innovative as studio ingenuity matched perfectly with allocated budgets, and Nintendo masterminded some of the finest titles we've ever seen, making their decline a bitter pill to swallow. There's no denying that once the initial Wii hype died down, fans were left with an underwhelming console, and when the Wii U floated in to 'save the day', it only compounded the fact that Nintendo had not only fallen victim to gimmicks and third-party filler, but had also lost the generation that fell in love with them in the first place. However, the comeback of Rocky (sorry, Creed) proportions begins now. The PS4 is a fine machine and the Xbox One can boast similar attributes, but Nintendo are about to cut the Wii U loose and start afresh. Enormous pressure and a great sense of optimism bare down on everything surrounding the NX - but they are qualities that could cement the newest machine as everything each and every consumer needs right now.
