9. Incessant Whining Over DLC
Upfront I want to say that I am not encouraging endings as DLC (cough, Final Fantasy 13-2, Asuras Wrath, cough) but speaking about entirely supplemental material. Does an extra costume or bonus statistic seriously mean that much to you? None of this stuff affects your experience considering how irrelevant it all is. Criticizing those that do buy DLC content is childish as well. What someone else does with the game they bought with THEIR money does not affect you. If someone has a job/family and cant spend time dying repeatedly in Dead Space 3, its none of your concern if they buy weapon materials for $1 to ease the challenge or experience awesome things. Additional content (so long as its again not an ending) does not affect you either. You arent missing out on Borderlands 2 if you dont play every piece of content developed after the game; the full game was already a complete package. Furthermore, games cost more money than ever to make nowadays, and with fantastic companies closing frequently any additional revenue is a good thing.
