9 Simple Ways To Fix Star Wars Battlefront 2

2. Encourage Objective Play With On-Screen Help

From wondering what those three yellow symbols next to your character are, to whether it's proximity or bullets fired that determines a "Playing Objective" battle point boost (it's both), Battlefront does a terrible job of informing the player how or why you should focus on teamwork.

And yet, at time of writing you'll get some huge credit boosts for charging certain markers, defending specific characters or defending areas without leaving. Playing Battlefront in a more focused manner nets you the MVP award at the close of a game and lets you come away with a higher currency to spend on more crates *sigh*, yet these are all things that could be ushered along with some helper text on-screen.

The nearest we get is a "Play together to double your points" prompt on the loadout screen, but in a match it'd be great to flag things like "Teammate under attack" or "[Gamertag] is pushing the objective". Even if you could turn these off, at least it goes some way into surfacing a level of teamwork that is otherwise very easy to ignore.

How many times have you spawned into a match, only for your squadmates to split apart immediately? Give us reasons to stick together, link it to a progression system with guaranteed rewards and teamwork will become the order of the day, rather than the idea of going it alone.
