Assassin's Creed Origins: 10 Important Questions It Must Answer

This is it. We knew following Assassin's Creed Unity that the good ship AC had ruptured the hull. Water was pouring in and all the guests were diving overboard, yet still it plodded on, releasing what was actually a mighty solid instalment in the very much overlooked, Assassin's Creed Syndicate.

Still, even for those who picked up, we knew there wasn't much left in the tank. Assassin's Creed as a franchise felt like it needed the two year resting period Ubisoft would later admit to, with the general conversation surrounding its future settling on, "Well, we know it's gonna come back at some point."

As such, that 'point' was E3 2017, where the newly-minted Assassin's Creed Origins walked semi-triumphantly back into the mainstream arena.

Luckily for Ubisoft, they received nothing but sheer adoration as a mix of revamped combat mechanics, a lore-filled setting and a badass protagonist made many of us - including me - think they're actually doing everything right.

That said, there's plenty time between now and October 27th, and with no idea as to when we'll be seeing more of this 'all or nothing' Assassin's Creed, I've a few things I want answering...
