Assassin's Creed 3: 8 Reasons To Be Excited

2. God Bless America

Set during the American Revolution, AC3 takes us on an adventure all across The Americas. Boston and New York have been confirmed as cities ripe for exploring. Fans of the series are sure to feel at home leaping from roof to roof in search of their prey but AC3 isn't content to keep us within the confines of the city, Parts of the story take place in and around the American frontier with trees aplenty to climb, rivers to swim and cliffs to throw myself of like the lunatic I am. Avid outdoorsmen will also be able to partake in a spot of hunting throughout the frontier. Stalking, killing and skinning all manner of fauna in a fashion not dissimilar to the brilliant Red Dead Redemption, collecting pelts and meat to trade with the numerous NPCs throughout the game world. Thanks to the new engine we can expect dynamically changing weather, meaning that in winter the frontier will be an entirely different place, with rivers freezing over and settlements disappearing completely under the snow, changing up the experience every time we play. The dynamic weather isn't just a single player feature; it'll also feature heavily in multiplayer, with clear blue skies giving way to thunderous storms in a moments notice, which should lead to some nicely varied matches. But more on the multiplayer later...
