Assassin's Creed Odyssey - 10 Secrets & Locations You Must Find

Ancient Greece forever!

Assassins Creed Odyssey
Ubisoft/Marvel

Assassin's Creed Odyssey is a huge game. Huge. 130km² huge. And full of stuff.

So once you've had your fill of the story mode and the RPG elements are starting to get a little tiresome, it's time to properly explore. Ubisoft has created a full and rich world, but some of their best work remains hidden, ready for the sneakiest and cleverest of players to find.

We all love an Easter Egg, and Assassin's Creed Odyssey has some of the best out there. References to films, other games, other Assassins and, perhaps least unexpectedly, Greek mythology, crop up in the least likely of places.

Some are obscure references, others much more obvious or plainly pointed out by achievements. But all of them are pretty cool - if you can find them that is.

Don't worry, I've picked out the very best secrets and hidden locations for your perusal, so you don't have to spend countless hours scouring every mountaintop and back-alley for a hint or waypoint.

10. Legend Of Zelda's Korok Easter Egg

This Easter Egg was one of the first found in Assassin's Creed Odyssey and has remained popular ever since.

It's no surprise really, as The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild was a huge hit for Nintendo Switch in 2017, and players spent hundreds of hours playing small minigames in order to collect the 900 korok seeds spread over the world.

Luckily there is only one to find in Assassin's Creed Odyssey, and the reference is clear. If you head the coastline of Pandora's Cove, you can find a tiny figure made of twigs, petals, and clay inside a circle of rocks. This obvious reference just goes to show how loved the Nintendo classic already is.

It doesn't bear thinking about what Odyssey would be like with 900 of these tiny clay fairies to find, so just be glad there's only one, even if that makes it more difficult to find.
