If you are planning on buying Assassin’s Creed Revelations, you may want to pick the game up on release day because Ubisoft have announced that the anticipated game will include a copy of Assassin’s Creed 1 on the PS3 only. Assassins Creed 1 will be included on a Blu-ray disc, so you will not need to download the game off the PSN. I can’t believe they can fit both games on one Blu-ray disc but it sounds like they have managed it.
In addition, it was also announced that there will be no PlayStation trophies to be earned on this re-released version of Assassin’s Creed 1. Is this deal going to entice you to buy Assassin’s Creed Revelations on the first day or have you already and played Assassin’s Creed 1 and this deal means nothing to you?
Release Date: November 15th

Means absolutely nothing!
Means nothing in the sense that i’ve already played the first AC, and also that TES V: Skyrim is finally on it’s last legs of production. But i’ll probably pick it up at the point where i’ve devolved into a bony husk after having finished about 300 hour of Skyrim, play it 5 minutes…only to end up back on Skyrim. Honestly i loved the previous AC games, i see no burden in loving one more. 2011 has too many games, my head’s gonna explode…in a good way :P
Well.. I guess it’s ok, but for those Assassin’s Creed fans out there, like me, would have been looking forward to a set of trophies for AC1, since Ubisoft managed to incorperate trophies into AC2, ACB and now ACR, the odd one out is the first game that kick started the franchise. Then again, it’s not all about trophies, the gameplay and the story are compelling to say the least. But, having said that, I would still love to be playing around Acre in AC1 slicing away at guards and get a nice little trophy titled something like “Caught Off-Guard” for killing so many guards. It just gives it more of a replayability factor than just the story IMO.
Nope,i played through AC1 like most other fans since the start of assassins creed, i still have a hard copy. Not adding trophies would be a stupid move because it would give me and thousands of other gamers that have already beaten AC1 reason and incentive to replay through the game
I don’t understand why they can’t include the trophies on to the PS3 version. As far as I’m aware doesn’t the xbox version of the game have achievements? If so then surely it should be easy to transfer it over?
