9. Return of Bruce Wayne
The Bruce Wayne/ Batman divide is of massive personal interest to me. How far are they separate? More importantly, which one is the alter ego?
My argument is that Bruce Wayne is the ‘costume’; that he in fact died with his parents that fateful night (metaphorically of course). Now all that’s left inside is the Dark Knight.
Arkham City went a little way to strengthen this argument in its opening segment in which you, as Bruce Wayne, are kidnapped and processed into Arkham City.
Arkham City had a truly epic opening chapter and I loved the fact that Rocksteady went there.
We’d love to see more of these ‘Bruce Wayne’ segments in the next Arkham game; maybe even combined with a mechanic that lets us de-cowl say, whenever we’re in the Batcave, and partake in missions related to the maintenance of the alter-ego.

All valid and worthy points. I’d simply add ‘not needing to hold down a button to run’.
One more storyline idea could be the court of owls. A storyline involving all the bat family, with idividual battle with the talon, as well as battles teamed up with batman. Could possible have a bruce wayne battle situation where as you have to fight as bruce wayne, but you have to take enough damage that onlooker wount be supicious of your abilities, but not so much damage you would die. Also the main villian would be a equal to batman but with a excellerated healing factor.
All interesting points. The thing I’d most like to see is for them to find a way to implement a way to fight a character whose combat skill approaches Batman’s. Personally, I think a knock-down toe-to-toe fight with Deathstroke would be the most epic capstone to the Arkham series, but that’s just my opinion!
Yes! All of these please. Would make a blockbuster game for Rocksteady and an excellant one for us. Please Rocksteady, please do this. And not this stupid Silver Age game we are hearing rumors about.
