Batman Arkham Knight: 10 Storylines It Needs To Adapt

Rocksteady need big stories to make sure Arkham Knight is as great as we deserve.

Despite an incredible start, fans were less than impressed with many elements of the last instalment in the highly successful Arkham franchise from Rocksteady, Arkham Origins, but even that wasn't enough to dampen the excitement that met the unveiling of the forthcoming sequel Arkham Knight. But that doesn't mean we should ignore the things that derailed Origins: from the glitches and control issues through to a more fundamental problem with the story. When looking to adapt a character comics to video games, where there are few limitations in execution, having major story issues is pretty much unforgivable. Batman is clearly a bountiful source, and there are any number of iconic Batman stories that would translate well into the video game world. Because Origins deviated too far from the source, and had such story issues, it is important that Rocksteady should take advantage of the strength of the source, and better yet, borrow some stories directly from comics continuity. The following list contains the top 12 Batman storylines that WB and Rocksteady should be looking to incorporate into Knight - even if only elements of them appear - to make sure it is rich in story and a diverse and populated game...
