Batman: Arkham Knight - 8 Reasons It Should End The Franchise

5. Some Villains Are Already Overused

Definitely a controversial point, and one that most hardcore Bat-fans will totally skip over, as they would quite rightly say that you can never have too much interchanging Two Face-dialogue, or showdowns where you get the drop on motormouths like The Riddler or Penguin. However, for the rest of us this is the third set of trailers (fourth for some) where we're seeing the same characters trotted out again and again - albeit with fancier coats of paint - even though with Arkham City we had the likes of the fantastic Hush side missions and the Mr. Freeze showdown to add a bit of variety. While we wait with baited breath as to what the identity of the Arkham Knight actually is, he's the only antagonistic force that's sparked a bit of interest, and a whole hell of a lot of discussion, whereas the trailer-ending shot of Harley Quinn as a playable pre-order bonus was met with more of a grunt than a cheer this time round.
