9. Vimy Ridge And The Battle Of Arras

Now, the Premium Pass may have only announced that the French and Russian Empires will be popping into Battlefield later along the line, but who's to say that these will be the only two further factional additions?

After all, dozens of nations took part in 'the war to end all wars', including, quite famously, Canada.

The nation, as a dominion of the British Empire, pretty much had no say in whether or not it could go to war with the Central Powers. This meant that the Canadian Expeditionary Force, along with the Newfoundland Regiment, participated in some of the most climactic battles of the conflict - the former's most famous confrontation being the Battle of Vimy Ridge.

Vimy Ridge was the defining moment of the Canadian war effort, and contributed greatly to the greater German defeat at the Battle of Arras, a wider offensive mounted by British, Canadian, and Anzac soldiers during the spring of 1917. Considering the popularity of Monte Grappa as a map, it would only make sense to add more vertical locales to the fray.
