Before GTA V: 20 Greatest Achievements In Grand Theft Auto IV

19. Liberty City Minute

GTA3 On average, it takes gamers about 35-40 hours to get through the main story of GTA IV. But for you crazy, sleepless gamers that forget how to unclench your fists and release the controller, this challenge is for you! Rockstar challenges willing players to complete the main storyline of IV in 30 hours or less. This means chauffeuring Little Jacob, saving Roman's a*s several times, dating Michelle, having Roman's apartment and business destroyed, dealing with Demetri, blah blah blah... all in 30 hours. That's pretty intense. I do have to give credit where credit is due. GTA IV is - as I mentioned before - about a 35-40 hour game, generally speaking, and that's just for the main storyline. That doesn't include the hours of side missions, stranger tasks, minigames, cop chases, and the Episodes of Liberty City. In short, this challenge is intended for those that really want to burn through the game. If you prefer to bask in the storyline, maybe you should take a few extra hours to appreciate the experience.

18. Under the Radar

GTA4 Personally, I was never able to finish this achievement. There are 13 bridges to fly under, some of which are practically skimming the water to get through. This achievement is one hell of a challenge. A lot of players have trouble unlocking the achievement due to the difficulty in finding one or two of the bridges, or just flying underneath them. It's a very worthwhile challenge, as you feel incredibly satisfied and proud of yourself if you manage to fly (safely) under all 13 bridges. Those that choose to take on this challenge can be relieved, though. Rockstar was kind enough to keep the Middle Park bridge out of the requirements. Unfortunately, a huge portion of the brave souls who took up the challenge had to find out the hard way - after hours of failed attempts - that Rockstar cut that bridge. Too bad. At least all that flying is good practice for all the air travel we'll be seeing in Grand Theft Auto V.
