Black Ops 2 Limited Edition To Feature Updated Nuketown Map

Nuketown will be returning for all of your killstreak mayhem antics, with a futuristic overhaul.

Are you one of the many Call of Duty fans eagerly anticipating Black Ops 2 by honing your skills in the multiplayer world of Black Ops? Certainly you've played the classic map Nuketown more than once or twice in your map cycle. With no doubt, this is one of the most popular maps for fans of Black Ops, and it seems fitting that players who pre-order BO2 will be getting access to Nuketown 2025, which will be a futuristic re-imagining of the iconic map. Activision seems to be fairly confident that this pre-order incentive will be a strong selling point to get fans dropping money on the title early. A statement uncovered from an in-store display, posted by IGN, claims that Nuketown 2025 is going to be the "biggest incentive in Call of Duty history". There's no denying that Call of Duty is one of the biggest franchises in gaming history, but claiming that a single map will create the biggest pre-order incentive in the history of the franchise is a bold statement. They're either hiding lazercats with jetpacks in silos on the map, or they're setting themselves up for a hard fall. With any luck, Activision will release more information on Nuketown 2025 before the game launches in November, but they've certainly grabbed gamers attention with their statement. Personally, I hope they at least release a teaser trailer for the content before they take our money. That's probably just wishful thinking. Have you already pre-ordered your copy, or are you holding off until more information is released? Let us know what you think about their statement in the comments below! Source: Eurogamer
