Bungie Ends Halo Era With An Eye-Opening Infographic

On the off chance you've been living in the deepest reaches of the universe, far away from Earth, let me be the first to tell you that Halo is a big deal.

On the off chance you've been living in the deepest reaches of the universe, far away from Earth, let me be the first to tell you that Halo is a big deal. Case and point, is the staggering numbers Bungie has kept track of over the lifespan of Halo's multiplayer. What started as a wonderfully crafted Xbox launch title, has evolved into a multi-billion dollar franchise. Fans of the series remain faithful throughout many entries into the series, and the statistics being offered up prove just how loyal of a following the game has acquired. Here is just a sample of the staggering statistics: One of the biggest questions I have after viewing the eye-opening list, is what we could have achieved with the 235,182 years of playtime. Bungie has made sure to make us aware that we could have traveled across the entire Milky Way galaxy and made the return trip. The only answer that would need to be revealed on our return trip is why Halo wasn't already in the Xbox. Honestly Bungie, why would anyone have put down the controller to travel the Milky Way when they were one kill away from a "killtacular"? The only reasonable assumption is they were offering fans the chance to enroll in the Spartan program and defend our galaxy from the Covenant threat. In this case, I guess Halo doesn't really need to add a few more hours to their 2,060,196,113 in total playtime. To check out the statistics for yourself head over to Bungie's official statistics page.
