Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 To Include Quadrotor Drone

Mysterious image on the official Call of Duty site revealed to include a machine-gun wielding drone.

Following on from the news that Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 is likely to be revealed on 1st May, thanks to a teaser image on the official Call of Duty website, there's some more news regarding a mysterious scrambled image on the same site, and what it actually depicts. The site contains a host of Classified images whch will be revealed in the lead-up to the Black Ops 2 announcement, and the more fastidious of visitors will have noticed that one image is actually already unclassified, though not wholly visible. There is clearly something there, and some investigation, including the application of some handy Photoshop filters offers a far clearer image. At first, I was stumped €“ the image appears to resemble a CCTV camera, which would be a less than impressive addition to the game's available arsenal, but further investigation has revealed that the image actually features a machine gun-mounted Quadrotor Drone, which is now suspected to be included in the game as one of the killstreaks. The rumour becomes even more weighty considered in the context of the video below, which was posted by FPS Russia earlier today, which reveals what the Quadrotor Drone will look like and which features a thank you message to Call of Duty, who sponsored the video: http://youtu.be/SNPJMk2fgJU Nice work. So far, this pre-release marketing campaign has got me gripped. More of the same please. Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 is expected to be revealed on 1st May and released later this year.
