Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare Review - 6 Ups & 6 Downs

Prepare to be underwhelmed.

Call Of Duty Infinite Warfare
Infinity Ward

Call of Duty: Infinity Warfare is set to be not only one of the best-selling video games of the year, but also one of the most controversial, all stemming from its legendarily disliked first trailer, which cemented the game's hugely divisive move into fully-blown sci-fi territory.

Infinite Warfare is quite possibly the biggest mixed bag in the series' history so far, a gorgeously-rendered title that nevertheless suffers from a number of potentially deal-breaking mistakes for fans, though some will naturally find the changes agreeable to what they want out of a CoD game.

The pre-release controversy is sure to carry through to the full game, which pushes and pulls in so many different directions but ultimately doesn't really feel like a coherent end product.

Though it admirably moves away from the woeful blandness of Infinity Ward's previous Ghosts, Infinite Warfare is still utterly all over the place and far from the series' better recent efforts.

Here are 6 ups and 6 downs from Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare...
