8. The Vampire War Council
Mentioned in the summary for season 2, and revealed in the blood-soaked official trailer, is Dracula's War Council, comprising of different, seemingly vampiric dark entities. His generals, all given some screen time in the trailer, are shown helping Dracula massacre the land of Wallachia, finding increasingly gore-filled ways to up the body count and quite possibly amass enough bloodshed to begin their conquest of the rest of the world.
Though information about the identities and motives of these generals are sparse, it looks like at least a little backstory will be presented of some of these newcomers, each of them showing mastery in some art of war that makes them capable of leading an army of hell. Having more enemies for Trevor, Sypha and Alucard to face will help the audience feel like stakes (pun intended) are constantly being raised with every "boss" taken down, much like levels in a video game, all leading up to the final showdown with Dracula himself.
Having these harder-to-kill individuals pose an even bigger challenge for the world-saving trio can only spell good things for the eight-episode run.
