Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy - 9 Easter Eggs, Secrets & References You Must Find

9. Find Fake Crash

Initially created by Naughty Dog as a tribute to a knockoff Crash figure that circulated across the late 90s, Fake Crash/Trash Bandicoot pops up in various places in Vicarious Visions' remake. Whilst the above video makes it look easy, know that to get Fake Crash to appear whatsoever you need to have passed around 75% completion in each respective game.

First up, there's N. Sanity beach (the very first level), where if you continue as normal he's off to the left hand side of the stone ruins you'll jump up.

Second is in Crash 3's Toad Village, where he's out front of a house on the right-hand side. Third resides at the back of a right-hand side island in Makin' Waves, past the second pirate ship, and last is on Hog Wild, where after the gas station you'll see him dancing next to the left of the road.

Fake Crash appears to be mimicking Crash's legendary 'dance', though he doesn't come with any of the hilarious voice clips and sound effects that were added in Crash Team Racing.

Maybe something for that game's inevitable remake?
