Dark Souls Remastered: 10 Hardest Bosses - Ranked

8. Gravelord Nito

Ornstein and Smough Dark Souls

A twisted mass of bones, Gravelord Nito is one of the coolest dark fantasy creations in the entire game, but he can also be very difficult to beat. Part of what makes this fight so hard is the fact that the boss arena is very dark and filled with additional enemies, including giant skeletons.

So not only do you have to worry about the boss himself, but all of his little minions too. One of Nito's nastiest attacks involves a huge magical sword shooting up from beneath your feet, and he also releases a shockwave from time to time which is very hard to avoid. He also has an unblockable grab that does major damage if it connects.

Part of the best strategy to beat this boss is to try and stay close to Nito at all times and deal damage as quickly and efficiently as possible. If you let the fight draw out too long and get distracted by the skeletons, you'll probably run out of healing items and put yourself at risk of being grabbed or stabbed.
