Dragon Ball FighterZ Season 2: 8 DLC Characters Fans Demand

Why stop at 32 characters when 40 is such a nice, well-rounded number?

With all 8 of Dragon Ball FighterZ's currently announced DLC now released, you'd be forgiven for thinking DBFZ's roster has reached its conclusion. Bandai Namco and Arc System Works have made no announcements for a second FighterZ Pass, nor have there been any leaks or hints that one is on its way, so there's no concrete evidence that we'll actually get one, right?

Well, if you take some of the sales records the game has been broken into account, as well as its impressive sales debut on the Switch last month, a second FighterZ Pass doesn't seem too far-fetched. Plus, DBFZ was the most-watched stream in EVO history this year.

At this point, it'd be kinda weird if we didn't get another DLC pack.

Fighting game fans will buy whatever DLC you throw their way, though Arc System Works using DLC slots for Base Goku and Base Vegeta was... less than stellar, shall we say.

So, if Bandai Namco release a Mr Popo DLC and made him top tier, you know Dragon Ball FighterZ's community is gonna buy him regardless, just to get that competitive edge. They don't call it a sport for nothing.

8. Kid Goku

Now, before you say it, we all know what the naysayers are going to say about Kid Goku. "We already have three Gokus in the game!" they'll scream, "four if you count Vegito!" Let's be honest, it's a fair point. Dragon Ball has always been a Goku-heavy affair, to the point that a lot of fans argue the show uses him as a crutch.

And, yes, a lot of people complained about Base Goku being in the game when he was announced. However, he ended up being one of the more unique characters the game had to offer, because DBFZ is 90% fan service and the devs had a LOT of Goku footage to pull from.

Which is exactly why Kid Goku should be added to. Visually and technically, he has the capacity to be one of the most unique characters in the game. Super dashing? He'd fly on Nimbus! Short normals? No worries, he'd use his Power Pole!

Plus, it's Kid Goku! He's been the OG since way back in the original Dragon Ball. How could you not include the adorable little tyke? This way you could also use the original power trio. Kid Goku, Yamcha, and Krillin all the way, baby!
