E3 2012: Halo 4 Stage Demo Unveils Brand New Enemy Species

Halo franchise, and with their E3 demo proved that they are doing Master Chief justice. The stage demo finds Master Chief watching as the Infinity crashes into the ground below. As he prepares to pursue the ship, Master Chief instinctively whips around with his rifle drawn as he feels the presence of an unknown enemy. A foreign ship, glowing with a radiating ring around it appears, and instantly warps towards the crashing spacecraft. So begins the stage demo of the first ever Halo 4 campaign footage. Descending into the lush jungle below, Master Chief pushes forward with caution. Foliage covers the sky above him and vines twist upwards across the scenery. Cortana cautions the Chief, "Scouts, hold up." Chief pulls the trigger of his Battle Rifle, taking out the first three Covenant forces. The last charges at our heroes, when suddenly a fire is shot and he evaporates into ashes. 343 Industries continues the demo and provides our first glimpse at the newest enemies for Halo 4.
