E3 2012: Rayman Legends Provides Fun With Friends

Ubisoft provides Wii U lovers with another reason to pick up the brand new system.

Rayman: Origins last year to great reception, so it was only a matter of time until we saw a sequel. Sure enough, this year at E3 gamers were treated to a sample of the expanded gaming goodness that Legends will offer on the Wii U. The newest addition to the Rayman franchise is set to provide impressive co-op gameplay that will utilize the new gamepad controller. Players will be able to use the gamepad and provide additional support for their co-op partners by controlling Murfy. Expect to be flipping switches, grabbing enemies for destruction, cutting through ropes, and even provide rhythm gameplay that mixes into the core game on specific stages. Rayman: Origins proved to be a treat for gamers of all ages, and it appears that Legends will do the same. Combine the gorgeous visuals, with brand new Wii U functionality, and Nintendo is almost guaranteed to have an excellent addition to their Wii U launch line-up. Ubisoft has not yet announced an official release date, but expecting it sometime this holiday is probably a safe bet. Be sure to check back soon for more information on Rayman: Legends as it becomes available, and for now enjoy the full E3 2012 stage demo. http://youtu.be/L7tZS2c1NPo
