E3 2018: 10 Announcements That Would Change Everything

9. Valve Release A New Game

All Half Life 3 jokes aside, can you imagine if Valve actually showed off a brand new game at this year's E3?

Whether it be Left 4 Dead 3, Portal 3 or that long-rumoured third part to George Freeman's escapades, the appearance of a brand new game from the company would be absolutely mind-blowing.

The thing about this is that Valve haven't made an honest to goodness game in quite a few years. In fact, they haven't actually released a game this whole generation (not one that doesn't require VR, anyway).

To many, this has been an indication that Valve is simply done with making games, and you can hardly blame them given the success of Steam. So, can you imagine if they turned up on the biggest stage in gaming and announced an actual game?

This may seem like wishful thinking, but with Valve themselves stating they aren't done making games, it seems like the perfect time to make some grand statement.

If Half Life 3 does end up appearing at E3 this year, run for cover. Nothing could beat that much hype, no matter how unlikely it is to happen.
